Terms and Conditions of Registration and Attendance for Let’s Scrap 4 Fun.

When you register and attend a Let’s Scrap 4 Fun weekend event, you agree to the following conditions:

With your registration and attendance of a Let’s Scrap 4 Fun weekend retreat, you do hereby release Let’s Scrap 4 Fun, its vendors and instructors from any and all liabilities, damages, losses, claims, lawsuits, costs and expenses, including personal injury. Let’s Scrap 4 Fun and its vendors and instructors are not to be held responsible or liable for any injury or condition that may occur while attending or as a result of attending a Let’s Scrap 4 Fun weekend retreat. 

Your package for the weekend that you register for with Let’s Scrap 4 Fun  does not cover any incidentals incurred by you and/or your roommates such as phone calls, cots, room service, movie charges, etc. that will be charged to the room. These incidentals are your responsibility and the hotel will ask you to pay for any extra charges when you check out if there are any used.

Cancellation Policy:

Non refundable Deposit: Your $50.00 deposit is NON- REFUNDABLE.  Please be certain you  will be attending when you register.

   
You may also be subject to hotel cancellation fees, if applicable.
 No Shows-No Refunds-No Exceptions!

 

Important Note about Roommates:  If you cancel within the 3 days before a retreat, and your roommates have not cancelled, you will be responsible for your portion of the hotel room costs as well.  If your roommates have their package changed to reflect the new arrangement, we can accommodate that request any time before arrival and your portion of the room costs will be refunded to you.

 

No Shows:  No refunds for no shows- No Exceptions!

 

Hotel Cancellation Policy:  Any cancellations made within 3 days before the start of a retreat are subject to one night's room rate plus tax.  In cases of emergency such as a family death, hospitalization, inability to travel due to weather conditions, cancellation within the 3 day period prior to an event is allowed without penalty.  (This cancellation policy is normal with most hotels/resorts, and is separate from Let's Scrap 4 Fun Cancellation Policies and/or processing fees.)

 

Class Cancellation Policy:  Please choose classes carefully! Any cancellations or changes are allowed up to 10 days before the retreat ONLY! This is due to instructors preparing classes in advance for the weekend.   If any class is changed or cancelled after this time, there will be a $10 fee. Classes cancelled after 10 days prior to the event will be charged the full amount of the class.

Check Return Fee:  There is a $25 return check fee for each time any check is returned to Let's Scrap 4 Fun.   This amount will be deducted or added to your account if this were to occur, prior to any balances due, refunds or sales.

Registering for Classes at the Retreat:  Cancellations or changes at the retreat are prohibited. If you do cancel or change, you will be charged for the full amount of the class. PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY! This policy is VERY IMPORTANT for the instructors. They spend many hours preparing for classes .  They are committed to teaching the classes that they have offered and just need to have the same commitment from our attendees.

 

Cropping Space:
There are no extra side tables, other tables or other surfaces allowed in the crop room to "extend" your area of any kind due to space concerns. Also, due to Fire Codes and safety concerns, we do ask that the aisles be kept clear and have easy access. Please do not clog these areas with totes and other storage containers. Please store your totes and other storage items UNDER YOUR TABLE. If totes are blocking the aisles you will be asked to please move them under your table. If we see "other or extra" tables at your pod, you will be asked to remove them.

Beverages:  Any beverages MUST be kept in CLOSED CONTAINERS while at our event.  This is to prevent any accidental spills on someone's work or personal items while either walking by or sitting at the tables.

 

Privacy Policy:  Let's Scrap 4 Fun respects your privacy and will not share any personal information, including e-mail addresses.  We will never sell, rent, or exchange for marketing purposes, any of the information that you provide us.  The information that you give us stays with us, no exceptions.

 

Unsolicited Advertising:
Any form of advertising in the form of flyers, coupons, or any other media is strictly prohibited.  Any person or group found to be advertising will be subject  to a fine determined by Let's Scrap 4 Fun and will be asked to leave the event with no refund.

 

  Conflict of Interest Policy:  Any persons associated with/owner of/working for any other scrapbooking retreat and/or event company is ineligible to participate in any Let's Scrap 4 Fun events as a vendor or instructor.  Any breach of this policy will result in a $500 fine and will be asked to leave immediately.
 
 

Baby & Children Policy: While we adore children and BABIES, the ladies that attend our events are coming to enjoy some time away from the kids and all that goes with them, so we try to respect that need while they are attending our event. So, we ask that you don't bring infants or toddlers with you to the events. If your family is traveling with you, and they want to 'visit' with you during the weekend, that is fine, just please limit the time inside the ballroom so that it does not disturb the other ladies and their work environment. Other visitors: If you have other children that wish to visit
you during the weekend, please make certain that they are discreet and respectful of those working in the ballroom as well. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation as we all work together to make our weekends
